Recently, the purchasing price of seed cotton began to rise on a large scale, up with RMB20-140/MT, but it lowered with RMB20/MT. Cotton seed price moved down with RMB20-220/MT influenced by the decrease of soybean price. National purchasing price of cotton went down.
The average price of cotton is around RMB12,562/MT in local markets, down by RMB44/MT from the past two weeks. It¡¯s expected that the purchasing price of cotton seed will run on rising trend sustained by the rising price of agricultural products.
