n 2008, the continuous improvement of national living standard and huge consumption demand in international market will further drive wood consumption market. Traditional wood export countries and regions such as Russia and Southeast Asia formulated policy restricting log export, which resulted in relative tight of wood resources. Therefore, the price of logs will generally increase in 2008.

But, the growth rate will not be too high, because the entire industry is not as prosperous as the last few years and profits are much lower affected by macro-control, appreciation of RMB and increase of production costs.
