Recently, IFEU, the research institute for energy and environment located in Heidelbery, Germany released a study report indicating that, if evaluated from the perspective of product life cycle, carton packaging has more advantage than plastic bottles (PET) in terms of environmental protection and ecological protection. Besides, carton's environmental protection feature stands out obviously compared with whatever packaging systems. According to the survey, compared with PET packaging, the advantages of carton are reflected in two aspects, low consumption of mineral resources and low impact of global green house effect.
