Based on customs data, till the end of April 2007, the aggregate sugar import had amounted to 231,271 tons, of which 166,200 tons through ordinary trade, 2,800 tons for re-export, 41,900 tons for either re-export or selling to domestic market after processing imported materials, 20,400 tons at bounding warehouses; the national total export had amounted to 52,200 tons, of which 9,500 tons through ordinary trade, 14,500 tons re-export, 28,100 tons export after processing and 140 tons through other methods. |
