Based on customs data, till the end of March 2007, the aggregate sugar import had amounted to 169,300 tons, of which 118,000 tons through ordinary trade, 2,200 tons for re-export, 28,800 tons for either re-export or selling to domestic market after processing imported materials, 20,400 tons at bounding warehouses; the national total export had amounted to 41,500 tons, of which 7,300 tons through ordinary trade, 9,900 tons re-export, 24,200 tons export after processing and 140 tons through other methods. |
