Recently, the project of cultivating and effectively using fast-growing forests carried out by Techwah Group improved the usage of wood resources to 95% from 65%, and was thus listed as a key project of ¨991 Plan〃 in 2008 by the provincial development and reform commission. The project makes trunk into emulational precious wood, makes LVL from medium and small dimension wood, processes branches or waste batten into extrusion particle board without stress, and makes wood pellets and barks into sanitizing incenses or eood plastics composites.
With the improvement of consciousness of energy and environmental protection, recycle economy is paid more and more attention. Techwah Group started to build the 100,000 mu fast-growing forests base on which fast-growing south poplar is the main species in 2003, and now there has been 250,000 mu fast-growing forests base.
Because the material of fast-growing forest is loose, Techwah Group researched how to improve the material as a key subject all the time. While introducing international first class processing equipments, Techwah Group developed by technical innovation certain techniques and owned the rights of such intellectual property, such as ¨production of emulational precious wood〃 and ¨production of extrusion particle board without stress by using waste wood〃. Up till now, Techwah Group has key techniques for deep process of all parts of a tree, which does not only reduced production costs, but also set up a model for recycle economy.
It was introduced that Deqing fast-growing forests project was listed the key project of recycle economy in 2008. The project mainly replaced natural wood with cultivated wood and explored a new way for sustainable development of forest industry. The person responsible for the project of the company said the project would make the company further research and develop and promote advanced techniques and thus improve the production and usage of resources.
