In the process of collection and storage of domestic sugar, the enthusiasm of delivery from spot goods dealers had varied with the fluctuation of sugar price. When the spot price was higher than the price of collection and storage, their deliveries were inactive. On February 26th, the spot price rose to 3,700 yuan in Nanning, 200 yuan higher than the price of collection and storage, so there was no deal for collection and storage that day. When the spot price was sluggish, deliveries for storage were active. The spot prices on January 15th and April 8th were 3,440 yuan and 3400 yuan respectively, the corresponding amount of collection and storage reached 194,500 tons and 128,500 tons respectively.
