The Excellence Customer Satisfaction Measurement Center under China Association for Quality (CAQ) wound up its survey of the degree of customer satisfaction for mainstream brands in China’s soft drink market in 2008 recently. The survey began from early April and ended by the end of June, covering Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Haikou, Tianjin, Nanjing and Xi’an. There were 2,651 valid answer sheets. Subjects for evaluation of the survey include mainstream beverage brands such as Coca Cola, Wanglaoji, Huiyuan, President, Master Kung etc. Result of the measurement consumers’ satisfaction with soft drinks was 75.38 points, based on the evaluation of observed variables, including consumers’ expected quality, tangible quality, tangible value, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, etc. Out of all brands tested, Wanglaoji ranked number one with 76.02 points.
